Work performance

In one sentence
In ISA-95, work performance collects the job responses that report the actual resources, parameters, times and status of executed work.
Example
The work performance for the night shift lists every completed job order with actual times, operator IDs and measured torque values.
How it applies
- Operation: Work performance is collected during execution, often automatically from machines, supplemented by operator confirmations.
- Improvement: Detailed work responses support performance analysis and Root-cause analysis of quality problems.
- Integration: Aggregated work performance can feed the operations performance reported to business systems.
- Documentation: Documentation should explain which data operators must confirm, how corrections are made and how the data is used. Where records have regulatory meaning, the correction process must be traceable. Retention periods and access rights for detailed work records should also be stated, because the records can contain personal data such as operator IDs.
Work performance vs. operations performance
Work performance describes detailed execution within Level 3. Operations performance is the information reported to the business level, usually aggregated.
